Mealtimes are a natural focus for our residents, so at Godolphin we place real pride and value on the importance of food, nutrition and the social opportunities offered at meal times. We offer a varied menu of tasty home cooked food that is prepared freshly every day.

Our newly appointed Chef takes pride in the quality of the catering. His catering team ensure that individual tastes and any special dietary requirements are satisfied. They also take pride in our large, modern and well equipped kitchen and they maintain very high standards of hygiene and food safety.

We also take great pride in using local fresh produce. Our Chef undertakes continual reviews of our Menus to ensure residents have a choice of new and exciting dishes as well as the old favourites. If a resident does not fancy the dish of the day our catering team would be pleased to offer you a freshly cooked alternative. As all our menus are reviewed by a Nutritionist, we ensure that all our residents receive high quality, well balanced meals prepared in hygienic surroundings by our fully qualified and experienced catering staff.

Mealtimes are seen as an occasion and an opportunity for people to engage socially. For those residents wishing to engage in conversation and enjoy the social aspects of mealtimes, our Dining Room has tables seating 2, 3 and 4 residents. And for those who prefer the peace and quiet of their own company, they can take their meals in the privacy of their own room.

Of course, coffee, tea, cake, toast and cereals are available 24/7, as required.

A firm favourite with many of our residents - All our residents are welcome to have breakfast served to them in bed.
